Wild creeping vines grow in marshy areas. It loves to rap around and climb scrub trees and wild raspberry bushes. It grows throughout the summer and is dried slowly by the winter winds and freezing temperatures. By early spring it is dried and sturdy enough to pull from the tree branches or raspberry bushes in one clump. The vines must be harvested before the tree or host begans to bloom because the new foliage will prevent the removal of the vine without breaking it.
